ALONE

Sitting in a corner alone,
Arms over her head.
Her face as red as a cherry
Tears running down her cheeks.
She feels like she is lost.
She wants to go home but she can’t.
She thinks she doesn’t belong with the rest.
They have made her an alien on her own planet.
The others have pushed her over the edge.
They have hurt her internally.
She hides the pain when she is around them.
But when she is alone she breaks down.
She pretends to be strong.
No one knows how badly it affects her.
She wants all of them to see.
They treat her like she is a joke.
They need to stop.
All she wants is one friend.
She needs to be loved.
They don’t love her or like her.
They are rude and they are bullies.
So, she sits in a corner alone.
Arms over her head.
